Fit Mums and Tums Physiotherapy studio is located in the outskirts of Irvine, Ayrshire.
Treatment sessions are charged are £45 per visit and home visits are available on request and will be £65 per visit plus mileage.
The Mummy MOT is charged at £55 for the appointment due to the extensive assessment and written report provided as part of the service.
Treatment of Pregnancy related Pelvic Girdle Pain
Hands on treatment and advice for this common condition which affects women pre and post-natal.

Whether you have had a vaginal delivery, assisted delivery or c-section The Mummy MOT is for you! The MOT consists of a tummy check, advice on posture and avoiding back pain, pelvic floor internal assessment(please inform me if you do not wish this and also if you would like a chaperone present) and gentle exercises to commence with return to exercise advice and plan. Advice and information about scar tissue massage if you have had a C-section.
A report of findings is available at the end of the MOT for your information and to share with other professionals as desired.

Thursday evenings: from 7:40-8:40pm
Classes (maximum of 6 per class): cost of £42 per block. Classes can be commenced at anytime within a block.
Pre-natal Sessions – Education and exercises
The ideal time to commence these classes is from around 12 weeks of your pregnancy. This will allow you to gain the most benefits. It is possible however to start the programme into your third trimester.
A 6 week rolling educational and exercise programme designed specifically for pregnancy and the challenges it brings. The programme focuses on understanding the changes your body goes through, the importance of posture, safe and effective exercises in pregnancy and abdominal and pelvic floor muscle exercises. You also learn how to physically prepare yourself for labour and learn the invaluable skill of relaxation. Each pre-natal session lasts approximately 1 hour. Each session covers a short topic of discussion including the pelvic floor, safe exercise during pregnancy and physical preparation for labour.
